What is Computer Graphics:
Computer Graphics refers to the creation, storage, and manipulation of pictures or drawings using Digital Computers. Computer Graphics have become an effective tool for presentation in various fields like science, engineering, medicine, business, entertainment, advertising, education, and training. i.e., it is used to simulate pictures and figures with the use of computers.
It is a way powerful medium using which we can draw, analysis and experiment with graphical objects using a computer.
Computer Graphics have become a very powerful tool for the creation of images and pictures. Basically, it is a branch or field of computer science, which deals with generation of image and pictures using the concept of Pixels.
The term computer graphics has several meanings:
- The representation and manipulation of pictorial data by a computer.
- The various technologies used to create and manipulate such pictorial data.
- The images so produced.
- The sub-field of computer science which studies methods for digitally synthesizing and manipulating visual content.
